I am a multi-disciplinary visual artist working mainly in drawing, painting and lens-based media. In my work, I discuss topics surrounding health and disability, creating work that highlights the invisible struggle of chronic illness. I wish to create work that resonates with those under-represented in the arts, especially women and those with disabilities. My current work focuses on the representation of endometriosis, inspired by my personal experiences of the disease. I am particularly interested in inclusion, accessibility and advocacy for people with additional needs in art spaces in Ireland.
